About Sarah:   

Sarah is a qualified clinical and analytical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. Sarah has a diploma in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy and is a member of the I.A.P.H. All members of the I.A.P.H are required to keep their knowledge up to date and attend regular training.  Sarah is committed to continual professional development (CPD) and attends regular seminars and workshops. Sarah practises two types of hypnotherapy: clinical hypnotherapy and analytical hypnotherapy. Sarah's interest in Hypnotherapy was a combination of working within the framework of the NHS; and many years of studying traditional psychology and its subsequent therapeutic applications.

 

Many therapeutic interventions aim to modify or reduce unwanted symptoms and behaviours.  The fundamental difference with pure Hypnoanalysis is that it treats the root cause of the problem. Once the cause of the problem is resolved then the unwanted symptoms and behaviours will permanently disappear.  It is for this reason that Sarah is passionate that Pure Hypnoanalysis is the best and most effective talking therapy.

Please Note:

All therapists with the IAPH have to complete their own training Hypnoanalysis. Sarah has completed her own analysis in order to clear out her emotional material. This is invaluable as it ensures that she is not projecting her own emotional anxieties, and that they are not getting in the way of helping her clients. It also gives her an insight and an understanding of what her clients are going through when they are having their analysis. This level of understanding and empathy with the process, and what is involved could not have been gained purely by means of studying hypnotherapy and psychology.

All members of the I.A.P.H are bound by a strict Code of Practice and Ethics and carry comprehensive insurance. Every communication with Sarah will be discussed with the greatest sensitivity and treated with the utmost confidentiality.
